Do you transport your own water for a cistern or farm application?  If so, are you also aware of the new requirements for filling your transport tank at public stations?

These changes in regulation state that an approved air gap (AAG) between the end of the fill-pipe outlet and the tank is required when filling at public water stations.  This air gap must be at least two times the diameter of the fill pipe, in order to prevent contamination of the public water supply.  Failure to comply with this new requirement may result in loss of access to the fill stations and possible prosecution under the Water Utility bylaws in your province.
