Our goal is to be your first choice to call for any liquid handling challenge—from a single fitting or tank to a complete system.
Polywest began in 1991 as a distribution division of a major plastics manufacturer and was incorporated as an independent, privately held company in 1994. This allowed Polywest to focus on building a synergistic line of liquid handling products tailored to agricultural and industrial customers, with an emphasis on product knowledge, fair pricing and reliable delivery.
Over the past three decades, Polywest has grown into a “go‑to” supplier of liquid handling products across North America, expanding its manufacturing capabilities, opening a 50,000 square foot head office and distribution centre in Winnipeg, and adding additional facilities in Saskatoon and Edmonton. Strategic moves—including the integration of Westland Plastics into the Polywest brand, investment in new rotomolding capacity, and expansion into specialty products—have positioned Polywest as a comprehensive provider of modern liquid handling solutions.
Principles, Community, and Partnerships
Polywest operates on principles of reliability, safety and long‑term partnership with customers, suppliers and employees. We actively support community events and business associations across Canada and are continually exploring new products, technologies and methods to improve the performance and sustainability of our solutions.
We work with a diverse group of customers, from farmers and ag retailers to contractors, municipalities, industrial operators and Indigenous communities, all of whom rely on us to move, store and manage liquids safely and efficiently. Whether you are designing a new system or upgrading existing infrastructure, Polywest is ready to help you get it right the first time. We have a long record of partnerships with First Nations and Métis communities to deliver reliable liquid handling solutions that support access to clean water and responsible wastewater management.
Our freeze‑protected, heat‑traced and insulated potable water cisterns, along with certified wastewater tanks, help ensure safe drinking water and environmental protection in Canada’s harsh winter climate. In line with applicable government acts, rules and regulations, our potable and wastewater tanks meet all required approvals and certifications, and we recognize that we are all stewards of the land and value the health, well‑being and contributions of Indigenous peoples as an integral part of Canada.
